  2. I have heater EG5000DGC installed in the garage of a home I just purchased. It looks new but makes a very loud rumbling sound when it’s on. Any suggestions on how to keep the fan from being so loud? Is the fan motor replaceable? Please let me know, thanks.

  6. I'm looking at garage heaters. Notice that the installation instructions say that the bottom of the heater needs to be a minimum 8 feet from the floor. What is the hazard of mounting it lower. My garage has a 8 foot ceiling. Also the area I'm heating will be insulated. Area 480 square feet.

  8. I purchased this heater and want to use it with an external thermostat. The manual is confusing in regards to this, does it require the external thermostat to be a 240v double pole line voltage thermostat? Or since it's setup for an external thermostat am I able to use any generic house thermostat?

  10. Just installed a new EG5000DGP heater and it worked for a couple of hours until it was disconnected and hung the unit with the supplied bracket. Once it was turned back on the yellow power light was on and could hear the thermostat click on when turning the dial. The heater did not turn on, there was no red light and tried all 3 selection on the heat output switch. Do you know what could be wrong with the heater?
