  4. I have installed this unit and I’m not convinced it is operating properly. Should the coils glow when in use? Mine do not. I have run this at its highest setting and even after an hour I can touch my hand to the front grill without being burned. The unit puts out warm air but I would not say it puts out hot air

    A it is possible to use the wall thermostat, yes. it completely replaces that thermostat.
