Q The hose provided does not fit my propane tank, is there a conversion kit? answer now
A The hose included with the heater should fit most modern barbecue propane tanks. The connection that leads to the tank is a male POL propane fitting which should thread on the inside threads of the tank valve. There are adapters that can convert it to different standard connections. Another common connection is a Type 1/ACME propane fitting which threads on the outer threads of a typical propane tank, however that connection on the propane tank should also accept the POL propane fitting as described earlier with the exception that it threads on the inside threads on the tank. Older propane tanks may use a Shop 1/4" male QD quick-disconnect. There are adapters available that convert the POL fitting to the male quick disconnect. Other less common propane tanks could also use 1/4" or 3/8" NPT but this is usually found on the propane regulators. It could also use flare or inverted flare fittings, but these are normally a determinant connection. There are connectors for disposable propane cylinders but they shouldn't be used with this heater. Those tanks are small and they won't last long at all. However there are adapters available. There are lots of adapters online that can convert the connection to work with your tank.
  6. How loud is the blower? Can it be used in a tent?

Q How loud is the blower? Can it be used in a tent? answer now
A Depends on the size of the tent. A large canvas tent with steel poles or a pavilion style tent would work well with this heater. Anything that is larger than 200 sq. ft. would be fine.
A Like most torpedo forced air heaters, they are moderately loud but tolerable. At full blast, it sounds like a rocket engine and it can be hard to talk over when in close proximity to the heater. It isn't as loud when set to a lower temperature. It sounds like standing next to a gas furnace running in a house. Not super loud, but not easy to talk over either.

Q Can this unit be used with a portable thermosat answer now
    A

This unit cannot be set up to work with an external thermostat. It has no way for this to work.-
